Continuation of the trial of Dudaković and others

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The trial of General Atif Dudaković and others continues today before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, based on the indictment of the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

Besides Dudaković, former members of the Fifth Corps Ekrem Dedić, Sanel Šabić, Ibrahim Šiljedić, Safet Salihagić, Adis Zjakić, Hasan Ružnić, Redžep Zlojić, Samir Solaković, Fatmir Muratović, Muharem Alešević, Husein Balagić, Edin Domazet, Ejub Konježić, Ibrahim Nadarević, and Said Mujić are accused of crimes against humanity committed in the area of the municipalities of Bosanski Petrovac, Ključ, Bosanska Krupa, and Sanski Most, and surrounding villages, for the murder of more than 300 people, persecution, and destruction of religious buildings.

In the course of the proceedings so far, the defense has noted that witnesses were questioned during the investigation about circumstances not included in the indictment, which the Trial Chamber has also observed. As the lawyers emphasized, a number of omissions were made to which the defenses objected. Regarding legality, authenticity, and relevance.

Witnesses have repeatedly spoken about circumstances unknown to them, and then about circumstances that do not concern the accused individuals.
