Continuation of the KS Assembly Session

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The KS Assembly session, which was interrupted yesterday, will continue today at 10 AM. During yesterday's session, representatives, by urgent procedure and with 19 votes in favor, increased the budget for 2018 by 82 million convertible marks, upon the proposal of Prime Minister Adem Zolj.

Opposition representatives, during the debate, pointed to what they claim are illogical reallocations of funds, accusing the Government, i.e., the Ministry of Finance, that the increase of the budget by urgent procedure serves no purpose other than pre-election campaigning.

Today, deputies have an extensive agenda, and among other things, they will vote on the establishment of the Pediatrics Department at the General Hospital "Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš", the affiliation of faculties, academies, and scientific research institutes to the University of Sarajevo and the termination of their legal subjectivity. Also on the agenda are decisions on the dismissal and appointment of members of the assemblies of cantonal public utility companies, as well as the work programs of healthcare institutions in KS for 2018.

The agenda also includes the Report on the Work of the KS Prosecutor's Office for 2017.
