Continuation of the emergency session of the House of Peoples of the BiH PA on December 17, numerous agreements awaiting ratification

(Patria) - The continuation of the 20th emergency session of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH is scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

That session was interrupted after the Budget of BiH institutions and international obligations for 2025 was adopted as the fourth item.

On the agenda remain the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Service in the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (first reading) proposed by Džemal Smajić, consideration under an abbreviated procedure, and eleven ratifications of agreements providing for the construction of the Student Center in Foča, the construction of the Science and Technology Park between the Saudi Fund for Development and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the construction and equipping of the Research Institute "King Salman bin Abdulaziz" at the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the "INTEGRA" Cultural and Sports Center in Mostar, as well as several other projects related to the Sarajevo Water Supply and energy efficiency in Tuzla.

These are agreements that cannot enter into force until they are approved by the House of Peoples of the BiH PA, and which have been pending for months.
