
(Patria) - Police officers of the BiH Border Police arrested a person earlier this morning at the Klobuk crossing, between BiH and Montenegro, identified as S.C., suspected of organized crime in connection with the criminal offense of illegal trade in excise goods, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska announced.
The arrested person will be handed over to the BiH Prosecutor's Office during the day.
Police officers of the BiH Border Police carried out the "Kings" operation early this morning at 3:30 AM, based on a warrant issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS, Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime.
Two individuals, one of whom is an employee of the BiH Border Police, were previously arrested and remanded in custody for one month, while the suspect Zoran Galić is on the run in Croatia.
It is expected that the BiH Prosecutor's Office will issue an arrest warrant for him. Galić is the Deputy Director of SIPA, and he is suspected of committing criminal offenses during his tenure as Director of the BiH Border Police.
