Naša stranka on the unconstitutional RS Day: Those who mark this day celebrate the beginning of the war and genocide

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The "Day of Republika Srpska" is being marked today in Republika Srpska, despite two decisions by the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina declaring it unconstitutional. Naša stranka (Our Party) states:

"There is no doubt that those who celebrate today deny the Constitution and the legal order of BiH. The Day of Republika Srpska cannot be January 9th. This has been stated by the Constitutional Court of BiH, as well as the Venice Commission. Those who mark this day, in addition to denying the BiH Constitution, also celebrate the beginning of the war in BiH, ethnic cleansing, war crimes, and genocide against the non-Serb population.

Celebrating a self-proclaimed republic led by later convicted war criminals is the lowest point of civilization. This is done to deafen the public for a few days regarding existential problems. Today marks the culmination of 30 years of delusion and destruction of the state.

The decision of the RS authorities to mark this day as the entity's day is a threat to democracy, support for the war policy, and an insult and threat to returnees and victims of the most horrific war crimes, including genocide. It is also an insult to all those who do not wish to accept the achievements of war crimes as their own," stated Naša stranka.
