Naša stranka: Špirić's appointment is mockery of citizens, the US, and the European Union

(Patria) - Nikola Špirić has been appointed a member of the Commission for the Election and Monitoring of the Work of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption and Coordination of the Fight against Corruption.

Naša stranka reacted to this occasion.

“Nikola Špirić is on the black list of the United States of America due to corruption. What has been conveyed by his appointment is that there will be no fight against corruption at the state level of government. On the contrary. This has been conveyed to the citizens and to the proven friends of BiH on the international scene. First and foremost to the US as one of the largest financiers of the fight against corruption in BiH, and to the European Union, where anti-corruption efficiency is a condition for membership.

It should be said that this is not only a message to the US, the EU, and the citizens of BiH, but also a mockery of them.

Naša stranka, of course, voted against this proposal, and Špirić was elected by the votes of SDA-HDZ-SNSD, a coalition which, according to its prime minister's admission, does not have a majority to adopt laws, but clearly functions perfectly when it comes to dividing portfolios and other spoils.”
