NASA Finds 7 Earth-Like Planets!

NASA today announced the long-awaited results of research by an international team of experts. Using the Spitzer telescope, a system of Earth-like planets was found, reports Patria. 

NASA has found a star around which orbit as many as seven Earth-sized planets, three of which are in the habitable zone.

Scientists emphasize that it is very possible that liquid water is present on them.

"So many habitable planets around one star have been discovered for the first time. This gives us the opportunity to think about how finding the next Earth is only a matter of time," said one scientist.

"This is a big step towards answering a large number of philosophical questions. This is a big leap towards answering the question of whether there is life in the universe."

Scientists have pointed out that the star around which these planets orbit is smaller and colder than the Sun.

One of the discovered planets is almost the same size as Earth and receives almost the same amount of light, reports N1.
