On Saturday, March 5, starting at 7:30 PM, as part of the "Sarajevo Winter" 2016 SOUL festival, the Ljubljana City Theatre will present Bertolt Brecht's play "The Good Person of Szechwan" directed by eminent director Aleksandar Popovski on the stage of the National Theatre Sarajevo. The play has subtitles in the native language, it was announced from NPS, reports the Patria News Agency.
Spend March 8 at the National Theatre Sarajevo. Enjoy the contemporary ballet "5 to 12" performed by the ballet of the Croatian National Theatre Split. The choreography for this ballet is by Igor Kirov. Come as a couple, buy one ticket, and get the second one as a gift. The performance starts at 7:30 PM.
On Wednesday, March 9, at 7:30 PM, the hit comedy "Balkan Spy in Sarajevo" by Dušan Kovačević, adapted and directed by Sulejman Kupusović, will be on the repertoire. A comedy not to be missed!
On Saturday, March 12, the satirical comedy "The Beggar's Opera" directed by Kokan Mladenović will be performed on the stage of the National Theatre Sarajevo.
The play "The Beggar's Opera" was written in 1728 by John Gay and it speaks of a disintegrating country, a country where there is no longer any morality, where laws exist but are applied exclusively to the poor, and where politics, executive power, judiciary, police, and high crime work together against the ordinary, little man. The performance starts at 7:30 PM.
