
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The National Theatre Sarajevo will start broadcasting plays via its YouTube channel on March 21.
The National Theatre Sarajevo, which was forced to suspend performances for the audience due to the new situation, will start broadcasting its plays via THIS YouTube channel.
The first play on the National Theatre Sarajevo's repertoire via livestream is the opera “Hasanaginica” by composer Asim Horozić, based on the libretto by Nijaz Alispahić, directed by Sulejman Kupusović – on March 21, 2020, at 7:30 PM.
On March 18 this year, the National Theatre Sarajevo marked the 20th anniversary of the premiere performance of the opera “Hasanaginica” with a jubilee event.
Already on March 23, at 7:30 PM, an archival recording of the drama “Balada o Omeru i Merimi” (Ballad of Omer and Merima) by Ferid Sokolović, adapted and directed by Sulejman Kupusović, will follow.
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's ballet – “The Sleeping Beauty” choreographed by Dinko Bogdanić is on the repertoire on March 25. The performance will be broadcast at 7:30 PM, and at the same time on March 27, the comedy “Fistik or a Dream of the Sun, Moon and Other Little Things” by Almir Imširević, based on motifs from the drama by Jurislav Korenić and Reihan Demirdžić, directed by Admir Glamočak, will follow.
The National Theatre Sarajevo will announce the repertoire of plays for livestream on a weekly basis.
