National Assembly of Republika Srpska confirms Višković's resignation and the fall of the RS Government

(Patria) - The National Assembly of Republika Srpska, with 60 votes in favor, accepted the resignation of RS Prime Minister Radovan Višković, which means the fall of the entire RS Government.

Višković addressed the MPs, listing what he had done since becoming RS Prime Minister, a position he held for six years and eight months. After his address, a vote followed, and the Rules of Procedure do not provide for a debate.

He specifically thanked the SNSD, which nominated him for the position, and asked that his successor continue with all projects that will improve the lives of citizens in the Bosnian entity of Republika Srpska.

Otherwise, the session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska was postponed due to a report of a planted explosive device. After the bomb squad inspection, it was determined that the report was false, and the session began around 12:30 PM.
