The people of Bosnia and Herzegovina elected those they believed should be elected

President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipović stated on Monday, as reported by Hina and relayed by the Bosnian news agency Patria, commenting on the elections held in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Sunday, that those were elected whom the people believed should be elected.

The people of Bosnia and Herzegovina elected those they believed should be elected, Josipović said in Komarevo, where he was presenting a demining project. Judging by the preliminary results, the outcomes were largely expected, he added.

"I expect that the newly elected officials, primarily the two members of the Presidency, will continue to be good partners to the Republic of Croatia and to me as the President of the Republic of Croatia," Josipović said, as reported by Hina.

"I hope that after this election cycle, our friendly and neighboring country will move toward the expected reforms, sorting out internal relations, and proceed on the path toward the EU and NATO alliance," concluded the Croatian president.
