Next week Dodik to meet with SDS and PDP

(Patria) - Chairman of the BiH Presidency and President of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik stated that a meeting between SNSD representatives and representatives of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) and the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) should be held in Banja Luka on Monday.

Dodik invited the leaderships of SDS and PDP, which are in opposition in RS, to agree on a joint stance of Serb parties in the state government.
SDS President Vukota Govedarica said today that they will respond to the invitation of SNSD leader Milorad Dodik for a meeting to be held on March 25 or 26, and that all decisions will be made by the party's Main Board.

Govedarica said that they will not negotiate with SNSD on the formation of the Council of Ministers of BiH and that he does not want to discuss any division of functions.

"With the conclusions of the SDS Main Board, we clearly stated at the time that we want to talk with all parliamentary political organizations from Republika Srpska at the state level, to talk, not to negotiate," Govedarica told reporters in Bijeljina, where he participated in the work of the SDS Political Academy today.

He stated that he expects a serious conversation about the problems in Republika Srpska and about strategic policies, i.e., the goals that RS strives for.

"We will hear what exactly SNSD is offering in this case. I am not for discussing some divisions of functions, I am not interested in that, I am interested in the strategic policies of Republika Srpska at the state level of government," said Govedarica.

PDP President Branislav Borenović stated that the party will also respond to Dodik's invitation and listen to what SNSD is offering.
