
(Patria) - An orange warning will be in effect in most areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina tomorrow, due to expected heavy rainfall and an increase in snow cover.
The expected amount of precipitation is between 30 and 60 liters per square meter, up to 80 in the south and southwest, and in some northern parts of Herzegovina up to 100 liters per square meter.
By Monday, January 5, between 10 and 30 centimeters of snow is expected in the morning, and up to half a meter in hilly and mountainous areas, meteorologists announced.
Strong winds will blow in the hilly and mountainous areas, creating snow drifts.
On Monday, precipitation will be weaker with a slight increase in snow cover, and new heavier precipitation is expected on Tuesday, January 6.
