LEAVING THE POSITION OF MINISTER After Marjanović's withdrawal, Adna Mesihović accepted the mandate of a representative in the KS Assembly

(Patria) - Adna Mesihović, suspended minister for science, higher education and youth of KS, accepted the mandate of a representative in the KS Assembly assigned to her by the Central Election Commission, after Damir Marjanović, founder of the movement For New Generations, renounced his mandate.

Adna Mesihović (she was on the list as Adna Bešić, editor's note) was the next qualified candidate from the For New Generations list for the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton. She submitted a statement accepting the mandate to the CEC, and the competent service of the CEC is preparing a certificate of mandate assignment.

Therefore, Mesihović should appear at the next session of the KS Assembly as a representative, which is expected at the end of this month or the beginning of September.

Although after Marjanović's withdrawal from the KS Assembly, he announced Tarik Jažić as his successor in the KS Assembly, Mesihović did not renounce her mandate.

We remind you that Mesihović was arrested on April 10, and after being released from custody at the beginning of June, she was suspended from her ministerial duties. This Ministry is headed by Darja Softić-Kadenić (Our Party).

Given the accepted mandate of a representative, Mesihović now needs to resign from her position as minister so that the KS Assembly can relieve her of her duties.

She is under investigation by the KS Prosecutor's Office for abuse of official position and illegal employment in the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth of KS. In addition to her, Dženita Viteškić, assistant minister in that ministry, Ibrahim Obhođaš, as well as the minister of labor and social policy, Enda Pavić Pečenković, are suspected in the Envelope case.
