Arm yourselves with patience, most of Sarajevo without water

The VIK company will conduct regular legally mandated testing of electro-energetic facilities (substations) at the Bačevo water source on 11.12.2016 (Sunday) from 09:00 to 15:00. During the testing, all wells and pumping stations at the main water supply source for Sarajevo will be shut down, and water supply will be suspended in most of the city.

The "Vodovod" teams will strive to maintain water supply to the maximum extent possible and to establish water supply with reduced pressure in all parts of the city where feasible.

Neighborhoods that will experience disruptions include: Sokolović kolonija, Hrasnica, Bačići, Osik, Dobroševići, Dobrinja, Aerodromsko naselje, Mojmilo, Saraj polje, Alipašino polje, Alipašin most, Nedžarići, Rajlovac, Halilovići, Džemala Bijedića street, Čengić Vila, Otoka, Anex, Dolac Malta, Grbavica, Marijin Dvor, Skenderija, Baščaršija, Bistrik, Buća potok, Buljakov potok, Zabrđe, Sokolje, Briješće, Vitkovac, Pofalići, Velešići, Koševsko brdo, Ciglane, Bare – Šip, Kobilja Glava, Hrasno, Hrasno brdo, Vraca, Trg Heroja, Švrakino selo, Podhrastovi, Breka, Bjelave, Vratnik, Kovači, Mejtaš, Mihrivode, Vrbanjuša, Grdonj, Sedrenik, Hambina Carina, Pogledine, Soukbunar, Cicin han, Hrid, Hotonj, Ugorsko, Barice and streets: Patriotske lige, Koševo and Alipašina.
