The results of the vote for the appointment of Nikola Poplašen, a Chetnik duke, to the Management Board of the Agency for Development of Higher Education of BiH, showed that he received six votes from the Federation, and only two from RS, writes the Patria news agency.
We asked Husein Nanić, the Director of the Agency, about Poplašen's appointment.
- That is a matter for the House of Peoples and the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament. We accept everything they decide and work with the elected individuals, Nanić told Patria.
No delegate from the Federation was against this appointment. SDA delegates in the House of Peoples of the State Parliament voted in favor of Poplašen's appointment. Sead Kadić voted yes, while Halid Genjac and Senad Softić abstained.
The DF delegate Sifet Podžić, as well as delegates from HDZ BiH and SDS, voted yes, while SNSD delegates abstained.
