Car deliberately set on fire in Sarajevo

On Thursday, March 3, 2016, around 9:20 PM, a fire broke out on a passenger motor vehicle of the brand "VW Passat", owned by H.A. from Sarajevo, in Ive Andrića Street, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

- The fire was extinguished by members of the Sarajevo Canton Fire Department. No one was injured on that occasion, while material damage occurred to the vehicle.

The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed, and the investigation was carried out by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton and an authorized court expert from PPZ. The conducted investigation concluded that the fire was caused by the use of open flame by an unknown person.

Police officers are continuing their work on shedding light on and documenting the mentioned criminal offense.
