MOSTAR, (Patria) - At today's session of the FBiH Government, a report from the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry on the operations of defence industry companies registered in the Federation of BiH for 2019 was adopted.
The defence industry in FBiH generated total revenue of BAM 305,183,891 last year, with export revenue of BAM 236,689,313. Total costs amounted to BAM 262,045,112. These companies achieved a profit of BAM 43,110,524 last year, and at the end of 2019 employed 3,513 workers. Total receivables amounted to BAM 114,818,180, and total liabilities (debts) were BAM 195,216,154.
In 2019, the capital value of defence industry companies increased by BAM 34,856,982 compared to the situation as of 31 December 2018, and for every BAM 100 of expenditure, they generated BAM 116 of revenue.
All these companies operated positively last year, with Igman d.d. Konjic and BNT-TMiH d.d. Novi Travnik achieving significantly better results compared to 2018.
