After almost half a year, the Federation of BiH gets a new Government today

The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will get a new Government today. The President of the Federation of BiH, Marinko Čavara, announced that he will appoint four ministers in the FBiH Government from the Alliance for a Better Future (SBB BiH) today, whereby the FBiH Government will start working at full capacity, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

The new ministers in the FBiH Government will also be confirmed today by the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, at an extraordinary session that should be held around 4 PM.

After the Democratic Front (DF) withdrew from the coalition with SDA and HDZ BiH, because they assessed that their coalition partners had passed an illegal Decree on the method of appointing heads of public enterprises, the Federation of BiH was left without a parliamentary majority, and the four DF ministers in the FBiH Government also resigned.

After almost half a year, the Federation of BiH got a parliamentary majority with the entry of SBB into the coalition with SDA and HDZ BiH in October this year. This party also offered four ministers in the FBiH Government, who will replace the DF ministers, writes Patria.
