SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Mimo Šahinpašić arrived today at Sarajevo Airport from French Grenoble, where he underwent a kidney transplant.
Mimo went to Grenoble in mid-January, and on February 1 he underwent a kidney retransplantation, with the kidney donated by Nedžad Nećko Omerspahić. He was greeted at the airport by family members and friends. With a smile on his face, Mimo greeted those present, while his wife Dejana could not hide her emotions.
- Everything went well. Thanks to my Nećko, who gave me life. I, who am the biggest chatterbox, have no words. I stayed a bit longer due to stomach problems. But the kidney is working - Mimo said briefly.
