After provocations in Vlasenica and shooting in Potočari, Fejzić says 'we must organize and protect ourselves'

(Patria) - This year too, contrary to the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH, a celebration will be organized on the occasion of January 9, the unconstitutional day of the RS.

January 9 will no longer be held in this way, High Representative Christian Schmidt said in January last year. However, nothing indicates that the High Representative will do anything to prevent the parade from taking place on Tuesday.

Just before January 9, Serbs in BiH celebrate Christmas, which this year too could not pass peacefully for their Bosniak "neighbors." From insults in Vlasenica to shooting in Potočari, no one spoke out to protect Bosniak returnees or send them a message that they are not and will not remain alone.

Hamdija Fejzić, the dismissed deputy mayor of the Srebrenica Municipality, said on the show 'Investigation of the Week' on Hayat TV that the same scenes have been repeating since they returned to their homes.
"As always, they do this, from our return, when they celebrate their holidays. They take these steps to undermine our security and want to show that we are not welcome. The international community should react more strongly. We cannot rely on the international community. We must organize and protect ourselves. They show criminal intent, genocidal intent. We must sit down and say what our protection is in the RS entity. I have always been an optimist and a fighter for a unified BiH. I have a desire to have a state of BiH with recognized borders, and I will fight as long as I can," Fejzić said.

Former camp inmate Fikret Alić, whose images of his emaciated and tortured body in camps around Prijedor went around the world, said the international community should be ashamed for not abolishing it.

"The whole world has banned January 9, and they celebrate it. Shame on the international community and politicians for not banning and abolishing it," Alić said.
