After the flood: 40,000 liters of dirty water pumped out of a new building in Dobrinja

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - 40,000 liters of dirty water were pumped out of a residential building in Branislava Nušića street in the Dobrinja 5 settlement after yesterday's sewage overflow caused by heavy rainfall, and workers arrived with machinery this morning.

This building was completed a few months ago, and it was built by the Cantonal Housing Fund of Sarajevo Canton with the company Džekos. Most of the residents of this building are young married couples with children or those who are expecting a new addition to their family. The prices of the apartments ranged from 80,000 to 120,000 KM.

As one of the residents told Patria, this is the third time the sewage has overflowed and caused a flood. Given that the elevator shafts were also flooded, the elevator will not be operational for the next seven days.

Neither the contractor nor the Cantonal Housing Fund, headed by Adnan Efendić, are willing to take responsibility for these unfortunate events, while the residents are suffering the greatest damage. Some of them are also announcing lawsuits.
