Inclined elevator at Ciglane back in operation after half a year

(Patria) - The Mayor of Centar Municipality, Srđan Mandić, signed an agreement on Friday with the director of the company "Fidges-Upravitelj" d.o.o., Fuad Haskić, for the provision of maintenance and management services for the "Inclined Elevator" facility at Ciglane.

From Monday, December 4, 2023, starting at 6 AM, the elevator will be available again to the residents of the Ciglane settlement, and the use of the elevator during the month of December will be free for all citizens.

Centar Municipality has completed the public procurement procedure for selecting a company to provide maintenance and management services for the inclined elevator facility at the Ciglane location, which was initiated as a joint procurement with the Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton, with the aim of long-term resolution of the inclined elevator's functionality. After the tender procedure for the management and maintenance of the inclined elevator, the company "Fidges-Upravitelj" d.o.o. was selected.

Cabin B of the inclined elevator at Ciglane will be available to residents every working day and Saturday from 6 AM to 10 PM and on Sundays from 8 AM to 6 PM.

Also, final works on the renovation of canopies/roofs at the inclined elevator stations are underway, for which KM 60,284.95 has been allocated from the budget of Centar Municipality.

The works are being carried out by the construction company "AMCO" OD.

The van transport that was provided during the suspension of the inclined elevator at Ciglane, in order to facilitate communication for citizens, will no longer be in operation from Monday.
