After the decision of the Council of Ministers of BiH: BiH citizens and their relatives arrive in Sarajevo on Monday on two flights

(Patria) - A group of Bosnian citizens and their relatives evacuated from Gaza will arrive in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday, November 20, we have confirmed from the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Sarajevo.

Let us recall, a new extraordinary telephone session of the Council of Ministers of BiH was held this morning, at which a decision was made to allow the entry into the country of their relatives, in addition to BiH citizens, after which the conditions were met for the transfer of these persons to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to verified information, citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina are starting their journey on November 20 in the early morning hours, by Turkish Airlines flight from Cairo to Istanbul.

Then, they will travel from Istanbul to Bosnia and Herzegovina in two separate groups.

The costs of their travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina are borne by the State of Qatar, as previously announced by the Embassy of this Gulf country in Sarajevo.

The first group is expected to arrive at Sarajevo International Airport on Monday, November 20, at 14:40, while the second group is expected in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the evening, around 19:55 on the same day.

The State of Qatar has made a significant contribution to the evacuation of Bosnian citizens and their relatives from the Gaza Strip. The evacuation of foreign nationals is part of the humanitarian efforts of the State of Qatar and its close cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries in evacuating persons who wish to leave Gaza.

The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Meshaal Ali Mohammad Abdullah Al-Attiyah, was also involved in these activities, for which the Palestinian community in Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed gratitude on November 15.

As a sign of deep respect for the citizens and the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the 30th anniversary of Qatar-Bosnia and Herzegovina bilateral relations, Ambassador Al-Attiyah will, as previously planned, participate in welcoming Bosnian citizens and their relatives at Sarajevo International Airport.

Let us remind you that the Qatari Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, H.E. Tariq Ali Al Ansari, previously welcomed BiH citizens and their relatives in Cairo, after official Doha enabled their arrival at a safe destination in Egypt. The Embassy of the State of Qatar provided them with appropriate welcome gifts on that occasion.

Official Doha, in addition to the mentioned travel costs to Bosnia and Herzegovina, also covered the accommodation costs of BiH citizens in Cairo. Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed their gratitude to Qatar for the help during the difficult times they went through.
