After Konaković, SDA is left by Ademović, Okerić and Mekić

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Current representatives of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton (KS) Kemal Ademović, Elvedin Okerić and Amel Mekić are leaving the party, confirmed for BHRT the head of the SDA Club in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton Mirza Čelik.

It is assumed that they will form a joint club in the cantonal parliament, which could be joined by some other current SDA representatives. The name most speculated about is Amor Mašović.

All of them are deputies who support the work and activities of the Prime Minister of KS Elmedin Konaković, who announced that he is leaving the SDA, and after that will form his own list with which he will run in the upcoming elections. As he stated, he already has a list of about 15 names from municipal councils and the KS Assembly.

The SDA calls on Konaković to leave the prime ministerial position in KS, because it is a position that belongs to the party, not an individual, but he, for now, does not intend to do so. Unless a parliamentary majority of 18 votes is found to remove him.

The question is whether the SDA has the capacity to remove Konaković, given the sudden outflow of cadres from this party in Sarajevo Canton.
