After Komšić, Mehmedović also renounces award of 840 KM and seeks annulment of decision

After the Joint Commission for Administrative Affairs issued a decision on awarding a jubilee prize to four members of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 10 years of service in BiH institutions, two MPs have refused this award in the amount of 840 KM, Patria reports.

The first to react was MP Željko Komšić, who stated in a press release that he „neither requested nor received such a thing, nor does he intend to take it if someone offers it to him.“

The second awarded MP is Šemsudin Mehmedović, who sent a request to the Commission for Administrative Affairs in which he refuses the right to a one-time cash payment based on the jubilee award.

- I inform you that I was neither consulted, nor can I accept compensation in such a severe financial crisis for the state of BiH, and I ask you to annul the decision – Mehmedović states.

In addition to Komšić and Mehmedović, Milica Marković (SNSD) and Lazar Prodanović (SNSD) were also awarded, but they have not yet commented on the award.
