After The Hague Decision: Dačić's Smile Doesn't Fade

HRT's correspondent from Belgrade said that he heard from journalists who were in the Serbian government that Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić "has a smile that doesn't fade", writes Index.hr., reports the Patria News Agency.

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić addressed the public at 1:15 PM and stated that the UN legal instances' verdict confirmed that Croatian forces committed mass crimes against Serbs in Croatia.

- Despite the injustice, an encouraging step has been taken. I sincerely hope that in the time ahead there will be enough courage for Croatia and Serbia to resolve in good faith all that hinders us from ushering our region into a period of lasting peace and prosperity, he said.

He added that the verdict is significant for Serbia because it reversed the established stereotypes of the international community about the events in the former SFRY, and that the court established that Croatia failed to prove genocidal intentions on the Serbian side.
