AFTER AGREEMENT BETWEEN DODIK AND ČOVIĆ, FISCAL COUNCIL ADOPTED GLOBAL FRAMEWORK OF FISCAL BALANCE AND POLICIES IN BiH, PREREQUISITE FOR BUDGET PREPARATION

(Patria) - The Fiscal Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 6th session today, adopted the Global Framework of Fiscal Balance and Policies in BiH for the period 2026–2028, thereby creating key prerequisites for the adoption of the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina institutions for 2026.

The framework for BiH institutions was adopted in the amount of 1,580,500,000 KM.

This step enables competent institutions to continue activities on the preparation and adoption of the budget of BiH institutions and international obligations for 2026, with the aim of ensuring the smooth functioning of institutions and the execution of their legally prescribed responsibilities.

We remind you that the Fiscal Council's agreement comes after the recent meeting of SNSD and HDZ BiH leaders Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović in Banja Luka, after which they announced that they had reached an agreement on the budget.
