In Sarajevo today, symbolically on the Day of Statehood of BiH, the sports hall of "Behaudin Selmanović" Elementary School will be opened. In this way, as emphasized by the teachers and students of the school, a 70-year wish has been fulfilled, a dream come true, the most beautiful gift for the Day of Statehood of BiH – the sports hall of "Behaudin Selmanović" Elementary School.
"Behaudin Selmanović" School is one of the largest schools in the Novi Grad municipality in Briješće brdo, and until six years ago, it also had the largest number of students in BiH. Today, this school educates 582 pupils.
