After 25 years, residents of a high-rise in Hrasnica will get an elevator

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - An agreement on co-financing the project of repairing the small elevator at Ejuba Sarajkića Street number 6 in Hrasnica was signed on September 7, 2020, in the building of the Sarajevo Canton. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton Faruk Kapidžić, on behalf of the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Assistant Mayor Jasmin Voloder, Director of the Cantonal Housing Fund Belma Barlov, and a representative of the apartment owners.

This agreement arranged the repair of the small elevator in the Hrasnica neighborhood at Ejuba Sarajkića Street number 6. The elevator has not been in operation for a full 25 years, and residents have been using the auxiliary freight elevator.

After receiving notification of the problem faced by residents in the Hrasnica high-rise, the Ilidža Municipality, with the help of the Cantonal Ministry and through the Cantonal Housing Fund, which is the lead entity in selecting the contractor, proceeded with the implementation of the elevator repair. In this way, the Ilidža Municipality demonstrated its commitment to always participate in such and similar projects aimed at making the daily lives of its citizens easier and better. The total value of the elevator repair amounts to 20,000 KM.
