The best BiH tennis player, Damir Džumhur, defeated Stan Wawrinka 2-0 in sets (7:6, 6:3) in the first round of the ATP 500 tournament in Dubai.
Wawrinka took a break at the start of the first set, but Džumhur immediately responded and played brilliantly until the end for a 1-0 lead in sets, winning the tie-break 7:4.
In the second set, our tennis player continued his brilliant play, and at 2:1, he used a break opportunity, which he saved until the end for a great triumph against the third-ranked player in the world!
Džumhur will play against Marcel Granollers, the 36th player in the world, in the 2nd round.
