Heaviest rainfall recorded in Trebinje, showers and thunderstorms expected today

Today in Bosnia and Herzegovina, predominantly cloudy and unstable weather with rain and showers is expected. Heavier showers are anticipated in the afternoon. Thunderstorms are also expected in Bosnia. Light to moderate west and northwest wind. The highest daily temperature will range from 21 to 27 degrees Celsius, according to the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute, reports Patria.

A yellow weather alert has been issued for all areas except Mostar and Livno. The heaviest rainfall in the past 24 hours was measured in Trebinje with 87 mm, followed by Neum with 57, Livno with 42, Bihać with 37, Foča with 23, Bileća with 20, Goražde and Mostar with 16, Kupres with 15, Gacko with 14, Višegrad with 13, Han Pijesak with 12, Nevesinje with 11, Prijedor with 10, Sokolac with 9, Bosanska Gradiška, Ivan Sedlo, Rudo and Zenica with 8, Bjelašnica, Bosanski Novi and Drvar with 7, Bugojno and Zvornik with 5, Doboj and Stolac with 4, Banja Luka and Sarajevo with 3, Sanski Most, Srebrenica and Tuzla with 2, Bijeljina, Gradačac and Mrkonjić Grad with 1. 

The lowest air temperature measured this morning was 8 degrees Celsius in Bjelašnica. Atmospheric pressure in Sarajevo was 937 millibars, which is 5 millibars below normal and slowly decreasing. 

The changeable weather will negatively affect the mood of most of the population, causing fatigue and headaches. Chronic patients and meteoropaths may experience reactions related to their conditions. Caution is advised during thunderstorms, and wide open spaces should be avoided, reports Patria.
