Most Difficult Political Situation Since the War: DF Calls on All Patriots to Build the Future of BiH Together

Željko Komšić, leader of the Democratic Front, held a press conference in which he warned of the increasingly difficult political situation in BiH, reports a reporter from the Patria news agency.

As he pointed out, tomorrow we have the announced public humiliation of the Decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH, which will be demonstrated by RS politicians in Banja Luka.

- Any comment on this move is superfluous, and a word to the wise is enough. I have already made my decision. It entails that I will use all my knowledge, personal and political credibility, sparing myself not a single moment, in the fight for a whole, civic, multi-ethnic BiH within internationally recognized borders. From the very beginning, it was clear to me that this would be a difficult struggle, and I am ready for all the consequences of that struggle - says Komšić.

He further added that he is now addressing the members and leadership of the DF.

- I call on all those who, for whatever reason, are not ready to support and follow me on this path, to leave the ranks of the DF without hesitation or delay, as some have already done. To that extent, our struggle - politics will be stronger, more decisive, and more effective, as this, and the time ahead, demand of us. The future of BiH, but also of the DF, is now more important than
any individual or individual interest.

At the same time, I take the opportunity to invite all patriots of this country, regardless of faith, nation, or any other orientation, to tell them that the doors of the DF are open to them and that we work together with joint strength and energy for the benefit of BiH, and that we do not allow its further devastation, dissolution, and humiliation. In the DF, they will find
people who think the same or similarly when it comes to the future of our homeland. I hope that all well-intentioned people will understand this message of mine in the right way - added Komšić.

Incidentally, at the last Congress of the Democratic Front, Komšić proposed, and the members confirmed the decision, to remove his name from the former party name DF-Željko Komšić, because
this also opened the door to patriots of this country. He pointed out that the party name DF-Željko Komšić was a temporary solution and that the move to change the party name was well received by the public and characterized as an increase in democracy, which is the basic principle of the DF's operation.

Also, the DF leader pointed out that unfortunately, although the Christmas and New Year holidays are just behind us, his address is not of a festive nature and was not organized on that occasion.

- The truth is that the leaders of certain political parties have spoken out in the holiday atmosphere, on which occasion they mostly presented many untruths regarding the achieved results and gave
a multitude of unrealistic promises. Bearing in mind everything that awaits us, both this year and in the coming years, on this occasion I want to be completely open and honest for the sake of Bosnia and
Herzegovina, the DF, but also for myself. So, the political situation in the country is the worst since the end of the war in 1995/96, and the protagonists of the political chaos behave as if they see nothing and, what is
most dangerous, continue to generate options for the division and dissolution of BiH.

The latest activities of the leaders of SDA and HDZ are leading towards the creation of a third entity, which ultimately leads to the disintegration of the country. The talks are mostly conducted secretly and behind closed doors, and certain information is placed and trial balloons are released through a number of selected media - emphasized Komšić.

On this occasion, I must point out, indicate, added Komšić, that the fate of BiH is in the hands of SDA and SBB, parties that declare themselves as Bosniak, bearing in mind that they are in power and
that they are coalition partners with each other and with HDZ.

- I would like to be wrong in my assessment, but I remind you that the DF left the government - coalition because it did not accept the violation of laws and the shameless plundering of this country. We asked for a simple thing, that the constitutions and laws of this country be respected. The truth, and unfortunately, it turned out that this is too much to expect at this moment! I cannot but remind that court decisions have not been respected for a long time, and I would especially point out the non-respect of decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH - added Komšić.
