At least 17 people have died and 29 have been injured in a bus accident in southern Turkey on Friday, where the bus was carrying more passengers than permitted, the Dogan agency reported, as carried by Patria (NAP).
Local officials said the accident occurred when the bus's brakes failed. The bus was carrying 46 passengers, mostly women, while the permitted number of passengers is 27.
