Strongest People on the Planet on May 13 in Sarajevo: Farewell to Adin Arnaut

A press conference was held in Sarajevo today regarding the world “Strongman Champions League” competition, which will take place in Sarajevo on May 13. The strongest people on the planet will compete for the second time in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, following the spectacle staged in 2012, Patria reports.

The attending media representatives were addressed by Marcel Mostert, director of the „Strongman Champions League“ competition, who, together with organizer Jasmin Hajdarević, signed the contract for organizing this prestigious competition in BiH. The organizers are Adin Arnaut, our only competitor in the Champions League, and his coach and former celebrated strongman Jasmin Hajdarević.

- Fifteen years ago I met Jasmin while he was still an active competitor. I am happy that we have awarded the hosting of one of the competitions to Sarajevo, as we did five years ago. We were satisfied with the organization and that is why we are returning. I am sure the competitors will put on a spectacle on May 13 - said Mostert.

Adin Arnaut will bid farewell to active participation in this discipline by taking part in this competition.

- The biggest stars of this sport will come to Sarajevo. The whole world follows the Champions League and this is a very important event for BiH. It has been my honor and pleasure to compete with them for four years. Every man who aspires to strength sports wants to compete with the best, I was granted that honor, but I am already 39, I had a serious injury and triceps tendon surgery last year, and the time has come to end my career and make way for younger competitors who will continue to compete in the Champions League - said Arnaut.
