Nail graduates from US Army Military Academy, commissioned into BiH Armed Forces today

(Patria) - A ceremony for signing the contract for professional military service and commissioning into the rank of Second Lieutenant of the BiH Armed Forces for Nail Junuzović, who graduated from the US Army Military Academy "West Point", was held today at the BiH Armed Forces Home in Sarajevo.

The contract signing ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Defense of BiH for Resource Management, Aleksandar Goganović, representatives of the Personnel Management Sector of the Ministry of Defense of BiH, led by Assistant Minister Sead Muratović, and representatives of the Office for Defense Cooperation of the US Embassy in BiH.

During the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Defense Aleksandar Goganović addressed the attendees, primarily congratulating Second Lieutenant Junuzović.

- You are one of those who pave the way for future generations of cadets from our country.

I thank the parents of the Second Lieutenant for their patience, the support they provided him, and the sacrifice you made as parents.

Working with soldiers every day, I know what an undertaking your son has successfully completed. Both you and we have reason to be proud - said Goganović.

He also thanked the representatives of the Office for Defense Cooperation of the US Embassy in Sarajevo for the support they provide to the defense system in the area of training personnel for the Armed Forces, as well as in other ways.

In the end, he told Second Lieutenant Junuzović once again that he is a great pride for both the Armed Forces and the state of BiH.

Cadet Junuzović, after successfully completing his four-year education at the US Army Military Academy "West Point", became the second cadet from Bosnia and Herzegovina to graduate from this prestigious military educational institution.

Junuzović continues his career in the BiH Armed Forces with the rank of Second Lieutenant, the Ministry of Defense of BiH announced.
