Nadija Nezirić, Ali Bandić, and Faris Zejnilagić authors of the best graduation theses on Alija Izetbegović

(Patria) - The "Alija Izetbegović" Foundation has announced the results of the competition for the best graduation thesis on topics concerning the first President of the Presidency of RBiH, Alija Izetbegović, for the 2023/24 school year.

Based on the Work Plan for 2024, the Foundation announced a competition for the best graduation thesis in the 2023/2024 school year on the topics:

- "The Works of Alija Izetbegović - The Foundation of Statesmanship";

- "The Thought of Freedom in the Works of Alija Izetbegović as a Challenge";

- "Bosnia in the Memories, Speeches, and Public Appearances of Alija Izetbegović".

The Commission for the evaluation and selection of the best graduation theses on topics concerning Alija Izetbegović for the 2023/24 school year has selected the three best works, which are:

- First place (700 KM) - Nadija Nezirić, JU High School Jablanica - General Gymnasium;

- Second place (500 KM) - Ali Bandić, JU Fifth Gymnasium Sarajevo;



- Third place (300 KM) - Faris Zejnilagić, JU Gazi Husrev-begova medresa Sarajevo.

The Foundation congratulated the authors of the best works and their mentors, and expressed satisfaction that this school year, even more students from various cities in BiH decided to write their graduation theses on topics concerning Alija Izetbegović and participate in this competition, thus learning more about the life, work, and intellectual and political legacy of Alija Izetbegović.
