Municipal Mayor Muzur hosted karateka Anes Bostandžić: He brought bronze from the European Championship

(Patria) - Young karateka from Ilidža, Anes Bostandžić, once again confirmed his quality and excellent form after winning a bronze medal at the European Championship held in Zadar.

For Bostandžić, this was only his second appearance at a senior championship in his career, and at the previous championship of the Old Continent he was ninth.

This time, European bronze arrived in Ilidža.

- Besides being a great athlete, as confirmed by top results at the international level, our Anes is certainly someone who can be a role model for everyone, not only the younger but also the older - said the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality Nermin Muzur, and added:

- Dedicated and hard work, as well as sacrifice, always pay off and are rewarded. That is why I am extremely happy that we are once again in a position to reward Anes and his results, and I hope this will be a motivation for him and for other athletes from Ilidža to train even harder in order to reach and achieve results like Anes's bronze medal from the European Championship.

After the best result of his career so far, the representative of our country, Bostandžić, thanked Mayor Muzur and the Ilidža Municipality for their support, but also said that the path to third place in Europe was anything but easy.

- After extremely tough matches and opponents, I managed to bring bronze to our Ilidža. I am happy about this achievement, but I will not stop here. I believe that with maximum effort, in due time I will come for a visit with a gold medal - Bostandžić stated.
