Mayor Muzur Hosted Recipients of UNSA's Silver Badge

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Municipality Mayor Nermin Muzur today hosted recipients of the University of Sarajevo's Silver Badge award from the municipality of Ilidža.

Through an interesting conversation with the mayor, the young people, many of whom were scholarship recipients of the Municipality of Ilidža during their studies, emphasized that they see their future in our country where they want to build professional careers. Some of them are already employed, while some of their colleagues have turned to further education.

The students thanked the mayor for the organized meeting, as well as for the support they had in the previous period. They also pointed out that such receptions were not organized before and emphasized that it is an additional recognition for the exceptional success they achieved during their studies, which encourages them to build their future in their homeland.

Mayor Muzur said that it is a good message to everyone that young people from Ilidža see their future in our country at a time when many young, educated, and successful people are seeking their prospects outside the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- The Municipality of Ilidža has a clear vision and programs through which it wants to provide young people with the best possible conditions so that they think in the way you think, i.e., that you build your future in our country. Young and successful people are the greatest asset of our local community and our homeland - said the municipality mayor in a conversation with the best students of the University of Sarajevo from the area of the Municipality of Ilidža.

In addition to presenting them with appropriate gifts, Mayor Muzur proposed that the participants of the reception meet in the future by forming an informal advisory body consisting of Silver Badge recipients Elma Hadžić, Adna Čohodar, Amila Bojičić, Amela Bajrektarević, Azra Pirović, Zejd Svraka, Vahidin Hasić, Isak Panjeta, Mehmed Čilaš, and Enes Gičević, whom the mayor would consult on projects and issues specifically related to the young population from the area of the Municipality of Ilidža.
