Municipal Mayor Muzur with Businesspeople: Joint Action for Even Better Results

(Patria) - Ilidža Municipal Mayor Nermin Muzur, along with associates, held a meeting with local businesspeople where the Draft Budget for 2025 was presented, which had gone through public hearings with citizens and through local communities.

At today's meeting, a discussion was also held with businesspeople, and comments and proposals on the Draft Budget for 2025 were heard.



The meeting discussed the importance of the business community and the economy for the overall economic life and social progress. Mayor Muzur expressed respect for all businesspeople who have placed Ilidža among the leaders in fiscal turnover and contributed to increasing the number of employees in the Ilidža municipality.

Through work and dedication, Ilidža is today at the top of the wish list of large companies considering investing in our country. In such an environment, according to the mayor, young people will gladly choose to create new values and become entrepreneurs.

- The strength lies in all of us, and to achieve that, we must turn to ourselves and recognize the values we have. It is an honor to be the mayor of Ilidža municipality, which has such businesspeople.



What particularly pleases us is that, in addition to the budget, we opened other topics that are extremely important for cooperation between businesspeople, investors, and the local community, and we agreed on even dates and methods for holding new meetings in the coming period, in order to raise our cooperation and joint action in our local community to an even higher level.

What particularly pleases us is that they are satisfied with the presented Draft Budget for 2025, and we can already say that together, both businesspeople and we as public administration, expect a good 2025 - Muzur stated.

He thanked the businesspeople for their contribution to the local community and congratulated them on their success, and announced the continuation of improving cooperation to jointly work on the prosperity of Ilidža.



- In the coming period, we will continue to hold such meetings because communication with the business community is extremely important to us. We want to create the best and most favorable conditions for the work of our business community, in order to create additional value for our local community - added Muzur.

The businesspeople expressed satisfaction with the organization of this meeting, and further activities were planned and agreed upon for more efficient cooperation and business operations of businesspeople in the Ilidža municipality.

- We had the opportunity to discuss the budget for 2025, and in a very creative environment, we pointed out all the needs and what the economy expects. We certainly congratulate and are especially pleased that the largest item in the budget is capital investments and that in the coming year, investments that have started on the territory of Ilidža municipality will continue.



We are certainly recording better results year after year, and we as employers, given the profit and profit we achieve, are more than ready to invest in the Ilidža municipality because we have recognized it as a local community that follows the development of all our members and all our companies coming from the Ilidža municipality - stated Suad Ećo, President of the Management Board of the Association of Employers of the Sarajevo Canton and Director of Ećo Company.
