Mayor Muzur visited Srebrenica, handed out gift packages to children

(Patria) - On the last day of 2023, the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, visited Srebrenica, where he attended the distribution of gift packages for local children.

- We decided to give love and attention to those we carry in our hearts 365 days a year. The children of Srebrenica love strongly, rejoice, and selflessly share emotions. Their gazes, happiness, and joy make the brightest end to a very challenging 2023 for us - said the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur.

In addition to the fact that financial assistance for the work of the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center is a constant item in the Budget of the Ilidža Municipality, and that eighth-grade students from all Ilidža elementary schools regularly visit Potočari, this year the Ilidža Municipality, at the initiative of Mayor Muzur, decided to allocate funds for the purchase of gift packages for the children of Srebrenica.

- We came for them, to bring them a package of attention, and they gave us much more. In the way only children know how, sincerely and with a lot of love, with full arms of hugs - Muzur conveyed.

Today's hosts thanked them for the visit, attention, and gifts, with wishes for 2024 to be exceptionally successful for the Ilidža Municipality and its Mayor.
