Mayor Memić Hosted Sadin Hadžajlija, European Kickboxing Champion

Sadin Hadžajlija, junior representative of BiH and competitor of Kickboxing Academy Ilidža, won a gold medal in the -86 category at the European Junior Kickboxing Championship held in Skopje, Macedonia from September 3 to 8. On this occasion, the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Prof. Dr. Senaid Memić, hosted this golden representative of BiH and presented him with an award of 2,000 KM, reports the Patria agency.

Mayor Memić congratulated the BiH representative on his achievement, emphasizing that the Municipality, in accordance with its capabilities, will continue to support the work of successful athletes and sports clubs.

- We are proud of your result, and you will be remembered in history as the golden boy. Be an example to other competitors and never forget where you come from. You are the best ambassadors of our country, and I wish you to continue like this and always be the best - said Mayor Memić.

The reception was also attended by Sadin's coach Nermin Bašović, Assistant Mayor for Education, Culture, Sport and Information Denis Muhović, and Deputy Chairman of the Municipal Council Dževad Poturak.

Hadžajlija thanked the Mayor for his support, and his coach Bašović said that this medal is an indicator of continuous work in the club with young competitors, on whom they have focused since the beginning of their operations.

- Sadin is a young and promising competitor who has justified our expectations, and we hope he will be successful in the senior competition in the future - emphasized Nermin Bašović.
