HEAD OF MUNICIPALITY FOLLOWS SHADOWS' DICTATE: What does the martyr legacy and Golden Lilies mean to Benjamina Karić, while she persecutes their widows!?

Residents of Sarajevo's Ferhadija street once again today reminded of the detrimental governance of Benjamina Karić over the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Namely, pieces have fallen off the facade of the building on that street several times, posing a danger to life and property.

Former mayor Karić is accused by residents at the address Ferhadija 17 of having the facade on the building in Titova street repaired, while neglecting theirs, from which the facade has collapsed three times in the last two and a half months. Complaints about Mayor Karić's term are not rare, and it seems she continues to rule by the same principles and methods as the head of the Novo Sarajevo Municipality.

It has long been clear, and proven by the latest example in Novo Sarajevo, that Karić does not like those who do their job according to service rules and for the benefit of all. Therefore, for reasons known to her, she decided to internally transfer Enisa Ibrahimović, the assistant head for veteran and disability protection.

Knowing the methods and ways of operation of head Karić, it is assumed that she nepotistically wants someone loyal to those who installed her in both the mayoral and head positions in that role. Enisa Ibrahimović is, in the whole story, collateral damage of the beaten paths of governance of the head on temporary work in Novo Sarajevo.

Meritocracy does not mean much to Benjamina Karić, because she was not brought to the helm of Novo Sarajevo to think and evaluate who works how, but to dismiss and appoint according to the wishes and plans of the sponsors of her coming to power.

However, the dismissal of Enisa Ibrahimović, whose husband gave his life for Bosnia and Herzegovina and was awarded the Golden Lily, did not go unnoticed. The Coordination Committee of veteran associations of the Novo Sarajevo Municipality, which gathers seven of the most important associations from the defense-liberation war, reacted.

“Assistant head Enisa Ibrahimović is the wife of a martyr, bearer of the highest war decoration, the Golden Lily. She is an excellent expert in all regulations in the field of veteran and disability protection, as well as in other areas important for solving the life problems of members of the veteran population. She was the bearer of all activities, without working hours, working weekends and holidays, with maximum commitment to ensure that the marking of significant dates and events is dignified, as a sign of gratitude to all participants in the defense of our homeland from aggression,” the Coordination states.

They remind head Karić that Ibrahimović achieved exceptionally good cooperation with all veteran associations in the area of the Novo Sarajevo Municipality, where they together successfully implemented all projects and other activities necessary for the members of the associations.

However, it is clear that this does not mean much to head Karić, because obviously her mission is not to serve the citizens of Novo Sarajevo, but the shadows that installed her in the head's chair.

If we add to that that in the Social Democratic Party (SDP) she shares a position with Vojin Mijatović, who compares Bosniak businessmen with members of the criminal VRS of Mladić, perhaps much will become clear to us.

Karić obviously considers it most important to have some role from which she can smile, call for various communist actions of little significance, take photos, share cakes, and the like.

The functionality of the system and people like Ibrahimović are not important to her, because she is not interested in the system. On the contrary, the system is an obstacle to fulfilling obligations to her mentors and political creators.

After all, Karić was not elected by the pure will of the people, but by the political subterfuge of the decrepit Nedžad Koldža, to deceive the masses, while shadows install a suitable head for lucrative business on the territory of Novo Sarajevo.
