By purchasing new combined burners, the Heating Plant invested in cleaner air in Sarajevo Canton

(Patria) - KJKP "Toplane-Sarajevo" d.o.o. Sarajevo, as part of investment maintenance, and all for the purpose of quality and continuous supply of thermal energy to its consumers, has foreseen the procurement of new combined burners in the Zetra boiler house, on boilers no. 2 and 4.

After the new equipment was procured, the dismantling of the old and installation of the new equipment commenced. The dismantling of the old and installation of the new equipment works were carried out by employees of KJKP "Toplane Sarajevo" d.o.o. Sarajevo. After the completion of the equipment installation, a trial run followed, and the burners were successfully put into operation, thus successfully completing this project for the Heating Plant.

The goal of this project was: reduction of pollutant emissions, reduction of energy consumption, increase in the overall efficiency of the plant, reduction of noise, reduction of soot and waste in case of operation on alternative fuel (LUS), and safety and reliability in operation – reduction in the number of service interventions and a smaller need for spare parts procurement. The value of the investment was approximately 750,000 KM.
