Flag with lilies hoisted on top of Vlašić: Squabbles among BiH patriots must stop

(Patria) - In the presence of a large number of guests, the "Days of Victory, Days of Pride" event was held today on Vlašić, dedicated to the greatest victory of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the 1992-1995 aggression.

The event began with laying flowers at the Galica memorial park, and as announced by the organizers, it was held in honor of the members of the Army of the RBiH and one of its greatest victories.

The event, held at the memorial parks on Galica and Ljuta Greda, is attended by the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić, member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović, reisul-ulema of the Islamic Community in BiH Husein ef. Kavazović, and numerous other guests from political, military, and religious life of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The president of the Organizing Committee of the event and the mayor of Travnik Municipality, Kenan Dautović, said that by raising the victorious flag of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the top of Paljenik, just as Commander Mehmed Alagić did 28 years ago with the fighters of the 7th Corps, they want to send a message of commitment to preserving our homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, addressed the attendees:

"How many times have we overcome our pride, believing that those who betrayed us were our friends.

Anything is possible, I don't hate anyone, I don't perceive anyone as an enemy, but what more do you want from us?

How long should we remain silent and bow our heads for the sake of false political correctness. What were we willing to do, what did we see after the war?

Why shouldn't we say that we are ready to do the same again? For the sake of so many dead, for the sake of a devastated country, because I cannot go against myself, I will not talk to those who have crossed the red line.
I don't want to be lied to! I respect the power that stands on their side, but I will not allow them, after everything we have been through, to continue thinking that I am just a stupid Bosnian. So be it, whatever the cost".

Bećirović, during his address, spoke about attacks on the constitutional order of BiH, writes Faktor.

- Protecting the constitutional order of BiH is a fundamental prerequisite for moving towards the EU and NATO. Those who do not understand this either have evil intentions or are dangerously naive. The history of people who defended BiH is in some cases very similar and tragic.

Is it a coincidence that the leader of Bosniaks in the first Yugoslavia, Mehmed Spaho, died under unclear circumstances on the eve of the Serbian-Croatian division of BiH?

How can it happen that Džemal Bijedić was the only prime minister whose plane allegedly malfunctioned and who died in 1977?

Does anyone think it was a coincidence that the president of the Constitutional Commission of the Assembly of Yugoslavia, Hamdija Pozderac, was removed in 1987? Was the campaign against Alija Izetbegović for Islamic fundamentalism conducted by chance? - Bećirović asked.

He also spoke about the enemies of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- They will favor the obedient and naive among us, and attack those who oppose them. In these difficult times, we do not need divisions.

The party leaders of BiH orientation attack each other more than they oppose the destroyers of the state. Sad and dangerous. Squabbles among BiH patriots must stop - said Bećirović.

After the event on Galica, the noon prayer was performed, led by reis Kavazović.
