In most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, traffic is moving on mostly dry roads, with lighter vehicle traffic. Due to low morning temperatures, patchy ice is possible on sections in higher areas, as well as on bridges and tunnel approaches. We also warn of frequent landslides and advise cautious driving. We remind drivers that possession of winter equipment is
legally mandatory.
Due to ground movement, traffic for freight vehicles over 3.5 tonnes (maximum permissible mass) and buses remains suspended on the M-5 Sarajevo transit main road, and during the suspension these vehicles travel through the city.
Among roads with ongoing works, we highlight the main roads: M-16.2 Jablanica-Prozor, M-17 Stup-Rajlovac and M-16 Jajce-Banja Luka. At border crossings this morning there are no longer delays. On the occasion of the New Year holidays, the transport of explosive materials is banned in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
