Orange warning in effect: Heavy rainfall and strong southerly winds

(Patria) - The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute has issued an orange warning for today due to heavy rainfall and strong southerly winds.

The warning for rainfall has been issued for the areas of northern, eastern Herzegovina, southwestern, and partially central Bosnia. Wind gusts across the country.

Expected rainfall between 30 and 60, locally 80 - 100 l/m2. Southerly wind gusts between 50 and 70, up to 80 km/h in the mountains.



Otherwise, meteorologists predict mostly cloudy weather with rain for today in our country.

More rainfall in Herzegovina, western and northwestern parts of Bosnia. Heavy rainfall is expected in the northern and eastern parts of Herzegovina.

During the afternoon, rainfall will gradually stop in Bosnia, with partial clearing.

Wind moderate to strong, occasionally with storm-force gusts, southerly and southwesterly. In the afternoon, the wind will gradually weaken.

Morning air temperature from 8 to 14 degrees Celsius, and daily temperature from 10 to 16, up to 20 degrees Celsius in northeastern Bosnia.

In Sarajevo, mostly cloudy weather with rain. Rainfall will gradually stop during the day. Morning temperature around 10 degrees Celsius, and the highest daily temperature around 16 degrees Celsius.
