Nighttime water restrictions still in effect in Sarajevo

 

Water supply to the city of Sarajevo is normal during the day. During nighttime hours, from 12 AM to 5 AM, water is supplied under reduced pressure in the following parts of the city: from Dolac Malta to Baščaršija, Otoka, Č. Vila, Alipašino polje, Dobrinja, Saraj polje, Rajlovac, Velešići, Pofalići, Kobilja Glava, Bare-Šip, Ciglane, Koševsko brdo, Alipašina and Koševo streets, Cicin Han and Soukbunar; Podhrastovi; Grdonj and Sedrenik, reports the Patria News Agency.

This means that in certain locations, some floors of buildings and in certain elevated areas of the mentioned water supply zones, there will be interruptions in water supply during the specified period.

Due to repair work on the water supply network, there will be disruptions in water supply to the following streets today, July 24, from 9 AM to 4 PM: Mačkareva, Marcela Šnajdera, Patriotske lige, Nahorevska, Čadordžina čikma, Sunulah efendija, Zmaja od Bosne, Novopazarska, Velikokladuška, Porodice Foht and Toka.

We appeal to our valued consumers to use water as rationally as possible, to minimize watering gardens, washing yards, carpets, and other unnecessary wastage of drinking water, in order to ensure sufficient quantities of water in the reservoirs and maintain normal daily water supply.
