House of Peoples session to urgently discuss the Draft Resolution of Veterans

Delegate of the Social Democratic Party of BiH in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, Aner Žuljević, submitted a Proposal to amend the agenda for the session of the House of Peoples, which is scheduled for September 15th. The Proposal requests that the Draft Resolution of Veterans be discussed at the next session of the House.

- Taking into account the fact that the Council of Veterans of FBiH submitted the draft resolution to the Parliament of FBiH on June 27th this year, we consider it incorrect that it was not included on the agenda of the House of Peoples of the PFBIH at the scheduled 15th regular session, planned for September 15th.

The veterans of this country have been put in a position to wait three months for the proposal of their act to be considered, which represents an unprecedented shame and, at the very least, unworthy and impolite behavior from those responsible for harmonizing the session agendas according to the rules of procedure.

It is evident that for months, various political manipulations have been used to challenge the provisions of the rules of procedure regarding the veteran resolution in question, and therefore we believe that absolutely no one in a leadership position has the functional right to place themselves above the act that regulates the mutual rights and obligations of delegates, as well as the interested public.

Given that it is more than clear to you as well that all foreseen procedural conditions and deadlines have been met, this letter represents a Request to amend the agenda of the 15th regular session scheduled for September 15th with the item: Draft Resolution of Veterans", the proposal by Žuljević states.
