Radiology Department of General Hospital Performed 10,000 Examinations in a Month and a Half

SARAJevo, (Patria) - In the period from July 17 to August 31 this year, 4,753 patients were examined at the Emergency Center of the General Hospital "Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš" Sarajevo, and 399 outpatient surgical procedures were performed, with 1,341 patients admitted for hospitalization.

At the same time, 1,443 patients received healthcare services and were discharged home.

In about forty days, 1067 surgeries were performed, including 583 planned, 159 emergency, and 325 outpatient surgeries. Also, during this period, there were 156 births.

Hundreds of patients were examined in all hospital specialist-consultative outpatient clinics, and the Radiology Department alone saw nearly 10,000 examinations.

These impressive results are the product of the vision of the new management of the General Hospital, led by Prof. Dr. Ismet Gavrankapetanović, as well as the diligent and dedicated work of the staff of this healthcare institution.
